I met Tim at the Renfro Valley show and talked to him for a good while and he seemed real nice. I was wondering how long he has been touring with Merle?

Tim Howard wrote several songs that Merle recorded. I was in a band with Tim Howard in Fairbanks Alaska. Nice guy. That was in 1999-2000. He had already been with Merle previously. I'm still friends with him but hear he's been very sad since Merle's passing. Even his brother doesn't hear from Tim much any more. My prayers are with him.
